SVHS will be closed on Thursday, July 3, 2025 and Friday, July 4 2025 in observance of the Fourth of July Holiday.
Research appointments are always strongly encouraged as staff may not always be available to accommodate unscheduled walk-ins.

Location
Sewickley Valley Historical Society is located at: 200 Broad Street in the Old Sewickley Post Office Building.
Limited parking is available in the parking lot behind the building. It can be accessed by making the last right hand turn on Bank Street before turning onto Broad Street.

There are three doors available for visitors use to visit:
1. The back, wheelchair accessible, door facing the parking lot. When using this door, proceed down the hall towards the main lobby, make a left through the lobby and SVHS is the last pair of doors on the left before you reach a flight of stairs.
2. The side door on Bank Street — this entrance is the main door for the Sweetwater Center for the Arts offices, and the SVHS is up the stairs that are on the left when using this entrance.
3. The main revolving doors facing Broad Street. When using this door head to the right and SVHS is the last pair of doors on the left before you reach a flight of stairs. ** Please note that these doors are not always accessible — when inclement weather impacts their safety, the steps that lead to them are roped off from use. **
